Gerri L. Ryan is the mother of four grown children and a very loving husband who has supported her through the years in her goal to become a CA licensed midwife. She began attending births with friends and family members 1976 and in 1995 took on the role of professional doula. She is a certified doula and doula trainer, lactation educator and Lamaze certified childbirth educator. She is the founder of Birth Resource Network and an instructor for the perinatal educator program at University of California San Diego. More about Gerri.

Heather LeMaster welcomed her first child in September 2005. As a result of her own positive experience, and believing that the birth process is natural and one of the most special times in a woman’s life, she was motivated to help empower other mothers to be.
